You can’t spot reduce unless you go through expensive medical procedures. The only way would to start doing cardio excersise(Running, biking, Swimming.) Your arms will go first, Stomach last.

Sit ups are a wast and rarly burn fat. the abs are there its the layer of fat inbetween that needs to be removed. Look into the Winsor Pilates dvd’s. I recomend this one becasue it worked great for myself and my wife. Its all about toning and strengthing the core witch is the stomach and lower back.

Stick with it and you will definatly see results.
    Good Luck

Women tend to hold disproportional weight arround their bellies. Water/fluid retention, as well as salt retention are common reasons. Also, over time, an unbalance between estrogen and progesterone will cause this excess fat as well. (Too much estrogen, too little progesterone.) I recommend cutting back on salty foods, walking every day, and incorporating a NATURAL progesterone cream into your daily regimne. Arbonne has the best one I have ever found. I am the same way as you- my tummy is my problem area! But these simple steps make a HUGE difference. Best of luck! Email me with ANY further questions!

well, i was in the same boat and i started doing 50 sit-ups a day and starting next month i will work up to 200 a day (for ultimate results). you should start seeing and feeling a difference within a week of starting this process…u will feel great also. then when the weather breaks and spring kicks in, i’ll start walking 2 laps around a local park in my neighborhood. i think being active and doing some sort of excecise helps as well as eating breakfast and balancing the rest of your diet throughout the day. it’s not what u eat, it’s really how much! i learned that. also, not eating late helps. don’t eat anything after a reasonable time in the evening. like i stopped eating after 10pm.
GOOD LUCK and at least try one of the things i mentioned, you’ll be happy ;)

I suggest doing some exercises that get the legs moving, such as walking, jogging, running, swimming or bike riding.
These exercises that really get your heart pumping will burn the weight off quickly.

I like push ups, yoga stretches, pull ups, crunches, curl ups, leg stretches, calf raises, and squats as far as being good toning exercises that use no equipment and cost zero money to perform.

I like taking some dumbbells and doing some easy bicep curls, military presses, and lateral raises.

I think diet is important also and try to eat healthy home-cooked meals with lots of vegetables in them.

I try to stay away from the pop and sugar, candy, white flour products, and fast food.

I try to get a good night’s sleep each night.
