No it isn’t enough. Forget about running, as it will not guarantee weight loss. Running sprints however, will. You need only run sprints every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning before you eat breakfast, and take every other day off. Cut sweets and soft drinks out of your diet and avoid pasta and choose lean meats whenever possible. You will notice a change in one week, and some serious results after one month. Celebrities use this a lot to drop weight before playing a movie role.

Always have regular check-ups (at least every year) with your doctor.
I do not know how old you are. If you are over 18 years of age, then you should perform exercises to tone and define your body. Your weight seems ideal for your height. When the belly fat goes, your abdominal muscles (6 pak) will become more defined and toned.
As always, diet and exercise are the key. In your case, I would say exercise because I believe that you are focusing on walking too much as a primary exercise.
As for diet, try eating 6 smaller meals a day with a protein shake for breakfast and lunch. A single serving of fruit for mid-morning and mid-afternoon snack. Dinner should be a sensible meal- minimize rice and breads. Try this for a two-week period. Then, vary your meals accordingly.
Workouts should have weights and circuit type of training. Free weights are great for toning and weight-loss. Try some of the powerlifts such as squats and deadlifts. You can try dumbbell squats with shoulder presses. Here is a great and effective circuit training using a treadmill. Walk for 2 minutes (as a warm-up), jog for 2 minutes, run hard for a minute, then jog for 2 minutes, run hard for a minute, etc…do this for about 20-23 minutes. This works great. You can still walk but more as a relaxing and casual activity.
You will need to shift and change your exercise to continually to get results. This is called muscle confusion.
By the way, do not be a slave to scale. Check the mirror also. It will show results.
This is just a start. Keep working out and eating right. You will have definite results soon when you start using weights and circuit-type of training.
Good Luck.

This is not spam I swear.
But it’s what I use to lose weight.
I go to YouTube and they have a set of videos by diethealth
Her name is Sarah and she has amazing workouts. I keep a journal of the workouts she posts. You can also go to and click on videos. I’ve already lost weight just by her videos. You also eat a healthy diet. When I want to snack even though I’m not hungry, I chew Extra gum. The flavor lasts a really long time. You can also brush your teeth. Don’t forget about portion size. Also, when you work out, you can’t forget about muscle building exercises. For every pound of muscle you gain, you burn an extra 50 calories a day. That is sure to get rid of belly fat. Oh and when you run, stay in the target heart rate zone to burn fat.

What belly fat?! 5’4″ and 109 lbs! You don’t have belly fat — Some fat is healthy. What you want is to firm up your abdominal muscles. Try an exercise program called XBX — it takes about 12 – 14 minutes a day, gives your entire body a work-out and you don’t need any equipment. Start at the lowest level and follow their directions. It works.
The books are out of print, so the internet is the only way you can find it now. Good Luck!
