for the last 5 years! i’ve never been able to get it as flat as it was before the baby, but then again, i’m not a celebrity with a personal trainer and on-call chef.
just do the best you can. eat smaller portions of healthy food several times a day, rather than 3 big meals. smaller meals every few hours helps speed up metabloism. drink less soda…it loves belly fat. try to use your stomach muscles alot, even when you aren’t doing the dreaded crunches. tighten your tummy when you are driving, sitting at the computer, folding clothes. it’ll help posture too!
good luck!

Yep, the dreaded crunches is right. Don’t give up on them, it’s worth it. Also if you get weights that are about 5 pounds, it will also help firm the upper part of your body.
Good luck to you
Yes diet and excersize a long with a lot of water helps too

Losing fat requires a change in diet and exercise habits.
You’d need to eat about 5-6 medium-sized meals per day to speed up your metabolism. The body has the tendency to store fat if it doesn’t receive nutrients in a steady pace. So if you’re always eating a little, little or no fat will be stored. As to what you should eat in each meal, the first basic rule is avoiding processed foods as much as possible. Try making what you eat out of natural ingredients if you have the time. Avoid products with “High-fructose corn syrup” or “Partially Hydrogenated Oils” as much as possible since those are probably the main factors hindering your diet. In addition to eating well, drinking plenty of water and a good sleeping habit (8 hours a night) maintains your body in good shape.
To burn off the fat you had before you (hopefully) started eating better, you will need to do some basic weight lifting and cardiovascular exercises. Focus on the major muscles in your body, like the legs, the chest and the back to burn the most fat when you lift. Contrary to some people’s beliefs, weight lifting is appropriate for women as well, since it helps you tone your body out. You will not become a bulky bodybuilder type woman unless you take steroids. As for cardio, try performing some sort of interval training in whatever exercise you pick. For instance, warm up jogging for 3 minutes, then go fast for a minute, go slow for another minute, then repeat 4-5 times, then jog for another 3 minutes to cool down.
I hope this information helps you, good luck on your endeavor.

You have two options. You can cut calories and perform crunches like crazy, try one of the hot new incredible infomercial ab devices and buy a “fat burner”, Also there is another option but it is not too popular. Eat right, Understand functions of the abdominal muscles, work the body as a whole, and allow for ongoing fat release. Of all of two options, there is only one that “works,” all of the time. Unfortunately, it “appears” to be the most complicated.
Here is the Real Ab-Solution:
Before we go any further, I would like to point out that slimming down your abdominal parts REALLY means reducing you body fat percentage in those areas. Therefore, the goal is to reduce your body fat percentage.
Now that we understand what we are seeking, let us zero in on the solution.
Step 1: Eat right
“Eat right” sounds so simplistic, but the idea is maximize natural unprocessed foods and minimize processed or junk foods (Please do not go on a depravation diet, it will make things worse). However, you also need to eat in a way that supports Fat loss.
The real trick lies in stabilizing blood sugar, which allows fat to be released from your fat cells. You would do that by eating meals free from simple sugars and refined carbs, low in processed saturated fat, and balanced with protein, complex carbs, fiber, and essential fatty acids.
Step 2: Move
Once the fat is release from the cells, they need to be burned in your muscle cells. Releasing the body fat is not enough; you need to support your nutrition with a more active lifestyle. If you are not active, the released fat just goes back to the fat cells and they are not burned. Burning that fat make your “six packs” visible. You not only need to work on your abs or core muscles but you also need to work you the body as a whole (focus on the major muscles like your legs and back).
Then you need to optimize circulation with moderate aerobic exercise (do not go crazy), and fat release should be consistent and ongoing, and a little at a time, those abs will shine through.
